Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

Your financial help to support the production of Stanislav Stratiev's modern classic The Roman Bath at the famous Arcola Theatre is very much needed and will be highly appreciated!

Translated into 25 languages and produced in 40 countries, it was about time to bring this brilliant playwright and genius of comedy to the UK!

The Roman Bath has been performed for 10 consecutive seasons to packed halls in Sofia, across Europe and as far as India and the USA, but never on British soil. Now, award-winning playwright Justin Butcher brings to life this masterpiece in fresh translation and adaptation, commissioned especially for this production.

The Roman Bath is produced under the Patronage of HRH Prince Kyril of Bulgaria and with the Generous Support of Sir Tom Stoppard. The production runs from 28 April - 15 May 2010 for 20 performances, including 3 Saturday matinees.

Presented by Gologan Productions (Riverside Studios, Gate Theatre, Young Vic), Director Russell Bolam (Royal Shakespeare Company, Bristol Old Vic), Designer Jean Chan (Winner of the 2009 Linbury Prize for Stage Design) and Composer Gary Yershon (Royal Court, West End, Broadway) lead a multitalented cast to create for you an unforgettable evening of pure joy and laughter.

The production of The Roman Bath was made possible with financial support from the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture and the Bulgarian Embassy but we need to raise several thousands of pounds to sustain the quality and bring it to a successful end!

Your donation is vital!  TOGETHER, we can create a standing ovation performance – TOGETHER, we can enjoy and celebrate our success at the opening night on 28 April at the Arcola Theatre!

By clicking on the DONATE button you can send any amount of money to help us bring this hilarious comedy to London and no amount is too small!

Here is a rough guideline for donations:

£10 - £49.99 - includes an invitation to the opening gala, subject to buying a ticket to the play

£50 and up - includes a ticket to the play and an invitation to the opening gala

£100 and up - includes a ticket to the play, an invitation to the opening gala and, at the donor's choice, a mention of the donor's name on the  programme

For corporate sponsorships, please contact us at info@gologanproductions.co.uk to discuss individual terms.

Our commitment to the donors, aside from delivering the best possible performance from our stellar cast, is as follows:

After the closing night on 15 May 2010 each donor will receive the financial statements to the email address, registered with PayPal, if so requested.
In the unlikely event that there is a surplus of funds ( the production makes a profit), each donor will have the option to ask for a refund of their donation (first-come, first-served basis) or choose to support future projects promoting Bulgarian culture in the UK.
If you are interested in receiving the financial statements and report on how your funds were used, please put a note in the "Add special instructions to the seller" section in the second step on the PayPal payment. In that box, please also mention the organisation, which referred you to make this donation, such as The Bulgarian City Club, Friends of Bulgaria, Budilnik, The Bulgarian Embassy in London ..., so that we can express our gratitude.

You can really make a difference and help make this a massive success.

We sincerely hope that you will decide to support us.

Yours sincerely,

Anna Karabinska-Ganev, Director and Founder of Gologan Productions and the Gologan Productions Team
